Our favorite and usual trail from Yokohama to Kamakura.
We took the trail on Saturday during Typhoon 13 warning. Originally kids signed up for IC radio making class. However, it got cancelled because of the typhoon warning. In fact, the typhoon didn’t arrive. It was one of the quietest Saturday. Everybody stayed in. We walked the quiet trail to Kamakura and had a wonderful time.
Akiva took a class for working on a copper sheet and some welding on steel.
He created a name plate.
Gigi (means grandpa in Japanese), Kenaz and I went to see some ships in Yokohama bay.
A North Korean spy ship which kidnapped Japanese was displayed. The ship looked like a fishing boat had many bullet marks by Japanese coast guard.
Got shoter
Happy 13th Birthday!!
Winter Camp
We went to winter camp to make a winter ornament and rice cake.
We need three pieces of lucky bamboos.
We went to a mountain to collect pine cones and other natural materials as symbols from the winter season.
While we are waiting for rice, we enjoyed bobsleigh on a fall leaf slide.
We had rice cake in soup, desert rice cakes with sweet soybean power and sweet red bean paste.
We pounded rice very well. It is very soft.
