Holidays in Beijing

For Thanksgiving, we participated in our usual Thanksgiving tradition, which is eating Beijing Duck. Only this year, we actually were in Beijing.

Chanuka started on Thanksgiving. We attended a manorah lighting ceremony at Chabad house, as well as lit our own candles. We ate latkas, spun draddles, gave presents.

The kids put on a play at the Chabad House. Akiva and Kenaz, in addition to singing songs, played Assyrian Soldiers. And Akiva is in the school choir.
