In Tokyo, spring comes very slowly, three days of winter cold and four other days of spring warm in a week for a month. There is always suspicion whether spring finally come or not and that becomes the main small talk March though April.

In Suzhou, spring comes like snapping fingers. Last Wednesday I noticed we spend 100 US dollars for electricity in February to keep our room barely warm. Thursday I was still turning on heater at night. Friday it was beautiful. Weekend spring came. Everybody out the park enjoyed spring. Akiva and I enjoyed watching the kites at the park. There were so many kites in the sky, but Chinese people found the space to pull up a new kite.
